Panasonic To Begin Mass Production Of Tesla 4680 Batteries In Fiscal Year April 2023 3/12/22
In April FY23 Panasonic has said it plans to start mass producing Tesla’s 4680 battery cells. They have spoken of plan to create two more product lines/facilities within the Wakayama factory where the Tesla batteries will be. This comes on top of rising rumors about a potential Panasonic gigafactory in the United States coming soon.
