Electric Vehicles Cut CO2 Emissions — Huge Emissions Reductions Possible With Smart EV Charging 3/10/22
Rocky Mountain Institute released a report that found that the use of optimized charging (automatically and strategically shifting EV charging schedules) can lead to transport sector emission reductions. They say that optimized charging has the potential to save 800 lbs of CO2 saved per vehicle per year. This savings would be equal to mitigating 900 miles of driving a gas vehicle.
