Honda has announced an investment of 5 trillion yen into electrification and software technology for the next decade. Honda has said they will target their EV production volume to be over 2 million units/year in 2030, with plans for a dedicated EV production line in North America. This dedicated investment will lean heavily on research and development as they shift their production to the electric transition.
