Blue Bird put out an estimate that transitioning the entire US school bus fleet represents a
$150 billion dollar manufacturing opportunity. While only 1% of school are electric currently, the market is growing as New York passed legislation to electrify whole school bus fleet by 2035, Boston is adding 700 electric school buses, and California's Modesto Schools placed largest order of EV school buses ever.
