On top of the clear environmental benefits that can come from the EV transition, there is a business case built on lowering total cost of ownership (TCO) particularly with fuel savings being seen around $5,000 per vehicle over seven years. They highlight the three key steps in prepping for fleet electrification as adding intelligence to charging system, thinking holistically about total power needs, collaborating with local utilities and other stakeholders.
