US Senate to Consider EV Fleet Management in New Legislation 4/15/22
A bipartisan group of Senators proposed legislation last week, the Strategic EV Management Act of 2022 (S.4057) that will look to address EV fleet management specifically for the federal fleet. The Act would call on the General Services Administration to develop a management strategy for the federal EV fleet on areas like battery management, optimal charging practices, and guidelines for recycling retired batteries This group includes Senators Peters (D-MI), Romney (R-UT), Burr (R-NC), and Hagert (R-TN).
