Truck companies' electric enthusiasm doesn't extend to policy 4/12/22
Despite accelerating their own plans to electrify, truck manufacturers like Volvo, Daimler, and Navistar are all members of the Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association which is arguing that "federal and state rules intended to boost numbers of zero-emission trucks are too onerous." EMA's president is asserting that while these commitments have been made on electrifying, they are not set in stone and that EMA has hesitancy on EV policy.
