We Can Electrify 1 In 3 Heavy-Duty Trucks By 2030 — Here’s How 3/23/22
With over 100 models of electric heavy-duty trucks and buses on the market, the HD electrification market is on the rise. Operating costs are between 14 and 54% lower for HD EVs than ICE counterparts. State policy like the California Advanced Clean Trucks regulation which has been adopted in WA, OR, NY, NJ, and MA will propel HD electrification. If the federal government adopted this regulation on electric trucks than EVs could be about 1 in 3 of heavy-duty truck sales in 2030.
