Tesla Cut From California EV Rebate Program After Price Hikes 3/28/22
California's Clean Vehicle Rebate Project, a project which seeks to make electric vehicles more accessible despite their high up front cost, updated its list of battery-powered vehicles that are eligible for direct rebates up to $2,000 and Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y were notably off the list. Rebates are for cars up to $65,000 and crossovers up to $65,000 which with Tesla's new price hikes they are now ineligible for.
