An electric avenue to a no-emissions fleet: CTA unveils plan for electrification by 2040 2/23/22
Chicago Transit Authority, who we have been communicating with, has officially unveiled their plan for all electric city fleet by 2040. It was found that the whole scale of this electrification endeavor will cost between $1.8 and $3.1 billion, excluding base cost of maintaining the current fleet and facilities.
